Ruby on Rails tends to draw ardent supporters that become technology evangelists. There is no formal company that is “behind” Rails, but the community provides a tremendous amount of support. They’ve created directories of development shops, lists of applications, and even spoof commercials, as well as a variety of presentations designed to convey the advantages of Rails compared with other technologies.
